The summer farm “Breng” in Loen, Norway has been in my uncle’s family for generations. I spent one week in the nearest cabin one summer as a boy. I fished, swam in the lake, hiked in the mountains, chased cows and picked blueberries. While visiting Norway years later, my uncle and I stopped by so he could prepare the cabin for winter.
